You’re silly droid can’t message my iPad. :P. But in all reality, I don’t really have a legitimate argument for or against droids or apple products. Droids just don’t do it for me; I prefer how Apple products look and run. Plus, I like how convenient it is that all of my Apple products are synced together.

I’ll forgive the honest misunderstanding between Verizon’s line of Droid branded smartphones and the Android platform.

I used to have to defend Android, but then I realized over 50% of three US smartphone marketshare while iOS is in the thirty percent range. Android’s popularity speaks for itself. And I could make a great argument that the Google ecosystem dwarfs the Apple ecosystem in terms of usability and generally “tying your life together”.

the ecosystem is too open. there are too many options and I do not want to dedicate time and energy to creating an awesome experience for myself in terms of usability and networking. i would rather pay more and let go of some options so that someone can curate my mobile experience.
